RESTAURANT DESIGN
La Fondue is a high-end restaurant client located in the historic Bradbury Building in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The three spatial organization concepts implemented in this design are compartmentalization, an open and relaxed circulation, and a metaphor. The floor arrangement is compartmentalized to create and intimate experience. The metaphor of the circular flow of a fondue pot is evoked in the circulation that people would move throughout the space.
