CSULB DESIGN BUILDING MODEL
in collaboration with Fall 2015 Model Building Class
This is a full detail model of the design building at California State University, Long Beach. At a 1/8" scale my classmates and I chose to detail the entire exterior, interior specifications of half of the building, the working lighting system, and outside landscape design with a new proposed plaza.
I personally was in charge of creating the entire layout for the model and its components. I helped troubleshoot all the tolerances for the materials used in the model's structure as it was an integral part of making sure the cuts of the laser cutter were accurate. I also was responsible for the exterior brick laser cutting, airbrushing of the, eucalyptus trees, and the main glue down process.
